Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
Life happens — snow days, sick kids, schedule collisions. Here is how changes work, in plain language.
Draft for review: this language was prepared to complete the launch structure and has not yet been reviewed by an attorney. Owner/legal review is required before public launch. It is not legal advice.
How to cancel or reschedule
Contact us through any channel we have used with you — phone, text, email, or the contact page. A reschedule is always preferred over a cancellation, and we will offer the nearest available slot.
Notice windows
We ask for at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or move a confirmed visit. With that notice, there is no fee — the time simply goes back to the schedule.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may carry a late-cancellation fee, because that slot usually cannot be refilled. Any such fee is stated in your confirmed quote up front — we do not invent fees after the fact.
Owner TODO before launch: set the actual late-cancellation fee amount and confirm the notice windows match real operations.
Lockouts
If the team arrives during the confirmed window and cannot get in — no answer, failed door code, unexpected gate — we will try to reach you right away. If we cannot get access within a reasonable wait, the visit is treated as a late cancellation.
The easiest prevention is a reliable access plan in your quote notes: a door code, lockbox, or a neighbor who can let us in.
Weather
This is Colorado. If road conditions make travel unsafe, we may need to move your visit for the safety of the team — and there is never a fee when the reschedule is our call. We will contact you as early as possible with new options.
Recurring service pauses
Recurring customers can skip a visit with normal notice. Note that skipped visits mean more buildup at the next visit, and repeatedly moving from a shorter to a longer effective cycle may change the per-visit scope — if that happens, we will discuss it with you before anything changes.
If we cancel
If we ever need to cancel a confirmed visit — illness, vehicle trouble, emergencies — you will not be charged anything, and you get first pick of the earliest available make-up slot.
