Terms of Service
The plain-language rules for using this website and requesting cleaning services. Written to be read, not skimmed.
Draft for review: this language was prepared to complete the launch structure and has not yet been reviewed by an attorney. Owner/legal review is required before public launch. It is not legal advice.
Who we are and what these terms cover
This website is operated by Mile High Maid Cleaning Co., a Molecular Work LLC company, providing residential and light-commercial cleaning services along Colorado's Front Range. By using this site or requesting a quote, you agree to these terms.
Quotes are requests, not bookings
Submitting the quote form does not create an appointment, a contract for services, or a price commitment. Every request is reviewed by a person, and no cleaning is scheduled until we confirm the scope, price, and time with you directly.
Quotes are based on the information you provide. If the home's size, condition, or access differs meaningfully from what was described, we will talk with you about the scope before doing work beyond the confirmed quote — never after.
What our services include and exclude
Each service's scope is described on its service page and confirmed in your quote. Add-ons (such as interior oven or refrigerator cleaning) are included only when listed in the confirmed quote.
We do not provide the following, under any service:
- Biohazard, mold, or pest-waste remediation
- Hazardous material handling or disposal
- Exterior window cleaning above ground level
- Heavy lifting or furniture moving beyond light, safe repositioning
- Repairs, painting, or trash hauling
- Medical-grade or regulated-facility cleaning programs
Your responsibilities
To let the team work safely and to the confirmed scope, we ask that you:
- Provide accurate information about the home, its condition, and access
- Ensure working water and electricity during the visit
- Secure pets as agreed in your quote notes
- Secure cash, jewelry, firearms, and irreplaceable valuables before the visit
- Tell us in advance about fragile items, special surfaces, or off-limits areas
Payment
Payment terms — amount, method, and timing — are stated in your confirmed quote. We do not collect payment details through this website, and there is no charge for requesting a quote.
Owner TODO before launch: document the accepted payment methods, when payment is collected, and the returned-payment policy once the payment processor is chosen.
Cancellations and rescheduling
Cancellations, rescheduling, lockouts, and weather delays are covered by the Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy, which is part of these terms.
If something goes wrong
If you believe an area was missed or something was damaged during a visit, tell us within 48 hours of the visit. We will review every report in good faith and work with you on a fair resolution, which may include returning to re-clean the area in question.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Colorado law, our total liability for any claim arising from a cleaning visit is limited to the amount you paid for that visit. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for pre-existing damage, normal wear, or conditions we did not cause.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Communications
By submitting a quote request with your contact details and checking the consent box, you agree that we may contact you by phone, text, or email about your request. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time; we will still send messages necessary to coordinate a confirmed service.
Website content
The content on this site — text, images, and branding — belongs to the business and may not be copied for commercial use without permission. Site content is provided for general information and may change without notice.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the business evolves. The current version, with its revision date, will always be posted on this page. Continued use of the site or services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Questions about them can be sent through the contact page, and we will respond as quickly as we can.
